IIHS building was renovated and blessed by the parish priest, karaikal for starting GNM course in the presence of Rev. Mother John Britto Mary Former Superior General, Rev .Sr.Celin Mary former provincial of St.Joseph’s Province Trichy and all the sisters of IIHS and then General Councillor for Medical Ministry Dr.Sr.Alphonse Mary.
Government of Puducherry, Indian Nursing Council, Delhi , Tamilnadu Nurses and Midwives Council & Board of Examination for Nurses, Puducherry conducted Various Inspections to our Institution and granted approval for GNM Course to start in October 2014.
It was a grand celebration in the presence of Hon Minister Mr.Chandrakash, MLAs, Mr. Nazeem & Mr. Siva and Mr.Vallavan-District Collector. Our congregation Vicar General , Diocesan Vicar General, Provincials, General & provincial councilors,IIHS staff & students , sisters,friends & benefactors were also present. Indeed it was a colourful occasion with culturalprogramme& felicitations.
Orientation program is conducted every year for Parents Teachers and freshers. This is the start of “something wonderful” in which the history,vision, mission,academic details, discipline, rules and regulations of college & hostel are communicated.
Parents are called to provide the information about their daughters regarding their curriculum, performance, necessary improvement needed. They are motivated to cooperate with management & staff for their good conduct, better performance and success of the course.
Regular Staff meeting, guidance and counseling, Seminars are conducted periodically to update the knowledge and skills of our staff. Opportunities given for the staff to attend the CNE in National and International level.
Counseling and guidance given to students to discover and develop themselves and opportunities are given in all the dimensions.
